Parrots

Parrots

Sea of malachite high above

Sporting a bobbing grandeur

Striking emerald shrieking aloud

Parrots paddling African Tulip Tree

Beds of crimson starlet saucers

sets of six or seven scarlet whorls

Some dreaming, some in half blooms

Sun soaking sirens hosting Popinjays

Blade the senses, spliced green

Pepper the tongue, crackling silly

A sweetened soda drink mixed chilies

Bursting flight of gregarious jade
